42 year factory worker Shawn Dale of Surrington became the fifth male in the county to change sex in as many years. She’s now a beautiful lady called Angie.
Anne, his wife of six years with whom he has two toddlers of 4 and 3 is furious and has termed Shawn’s act despicable. But to his club friends, Shawn is now more beautiful than his own wife whom a friend quoted as “flappy”.
But Jeez, where do you draw the line?
With high inflation, an ex wife with three college kids and a mortgage to pay, Shawn took up a second job at a strip-tease club where he worked as bar tender for two years. But at one point, I found a pair of panties in his jacket and I got very cross with him because I thought he’d been seeing another woman. He later confessed to his wife that he had to replace a drag queen who failed to turn up on two consecutive occasions.
‘The Maiden’ pub is a lively place during the weekend with travesty shows. His boss found that Shawn fitted very well in his colleague’s role and asked him to continue, his salary quadrupled.
“I also received about 200 pounds of tip every night of performance” Says Angie, that’s when she started feeling girly. But it didn’t end there. Angie started making more than two thousand pounds a week. She needed to invest in here new found fame. A friend suggested that she sees a doctor he knew.
“When I saw the pictures of how the surgeon had transformed other patients, I knew I wanted to be next”. Angie took a 10,000 pound loan for the transformation. By the time she came out of hospital, Anne and the children were gone.
After recovery and recognition by the state to be female, Angie has started a process to have child custody of her children with Anne. “I think I am a better mother than Anne” says Angie.
