Fall Touré, is not an ordinary person. He is a great thinker and worker but above all, a great fashion mogul. These are the words of Anne-Marié Deng who prisided at the grand launching of Touré’s latest collection, TWAREG.
The Togolese Fashion Designer Fall Touré takes African Fashion higher. In a spectacular show organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Rome Treaty, Togolese Fashion Designer Fall Touré paraded some of his greatest works of fashion.
Touré Fall who runs his fashion studio in Brussels launched his new trade mark “Twareg” in a grandiose style, with a mélange collection of inspired by Sub-Saharan, Maghreb and European traditions.
According to Mr. John Kwesi, this was the best show ever organized by Africans in Brussels and it really puts Africa on high end fashion platform. “The show made me proud” and I hope Fall Touré can push his designs further into the market” says John.
The Commemoration was organized by the Embassy of Togo with support of the European Union in Belgium’s capital Brussels. Present was H.E. Ambassador Felix Kodjo Sagbo of Togo and Miss Togo 2006 also flew into Brussels for the occasion.
Various artists performed and Togolese painter Jean Koumy exhibited his paintings.
