What pro-Mugabe Africans don’t see is the suffering of the beautiful Zimbabwe and its people. Yes, Mugabe has outlived his historical usefulness and therefore, has become a not only a heavy liability but arrogant burden that the whole continent and Africans in Diaspora have to forcefully carry along with.
Mamboleo
The mockery of human dignity, respect, equality, justice and democracy that the once respected president of The Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr. Robert Mugabe has imposed on his citizens, neighboring nations, Africa and the free world must now be brought to a quick halt.
Zimbabwe’s last presidential elections earlier this year were flawed and marred with ZANU PF violence on the people of Zimbabe and it took more than a month to announce the results, which the ageing president was very much comfortable. A re-run with Morgan Tsvangirai who’se MDC party managed to wrestle most parliamentary seats away from Mugabe’s Zanu PF.
Stolen victory The president was not in a hurry to have the election results announced. He would have, should he have been on the winning path. Instead, Mugabe himself is known to have masterminded the result announcement delay in order to disorient the opposition and its leader Morgan Tsvangirai. Almost 6 weeks later, the people of Zimbabwe were told that none of the main presidential candidates garnered adequate votes to be president, making it necessary for a re-run between Mugabe and Tsvangirai. But in reality, Mugabe just wanted a way out to extend his presidential life after robbing victory from MDC.
Africa confused Mugabe and his anti-white and anti Western tactics is a way out to confuse Africa from the urgency of today by constantly re-directing attention to slavery and colonial past.
27th June Presidential vote re-run is a sham Anybody watching the presidential election re-run in Zimbabwe must have been informed the following: International Aid workers have since beginning of June, thrown out of Mugabe’s Zimbabwe. Opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has been thrown in and out of detention at will and now he is not allowed to hold any political rallies in Zimbabwe. This means that only Mugabe’s ruling party Zanu PF are allowed to hold political campaign rallies.
Mugabe has once more denied the opposition, the right to be elected. In Harare and all over Zimbabwe, posters and banners with his pictures and messages are up but Morgan Tsvangirai is nowhere to be seen. This cannot be called democracy.
Someone please kick this Mugabe out of Zimbabwe.
